The Best From A Landing Page

The Best From A Landing Page and how to start

Landing pages are important because they better the chances of finding your target audience: you can analytically find your audience based on their origins, age, language, and demographics for example. Using a landing page can help you separate the interesting prospect from the passersby.

Maurice, I read your post on optimizing landing pages and was delighted to see how well you laid out the do’s don’ts.
Particularly, I appreciated how you pointed out that landing pages without calls to actions are pointless.
One question- why do you have your site set up so that it is impossible to copy and paste your content? I wanted to paste the 21 quick landing page tips here as an example, but couldn’t.

Landing page optimization is my weak point. Have two sites and I still have not mastered it.

What I see here is a through review with a lot of details. I really have to go through this carefully. I see from your text that there are three possible types of landing pages. And I understand that headline is the most important part of it. A lot changes to make on my sites after reading this. Many thanks for the information.

Nnamdi, thanks for commenting it’s appreciated. mini website is another website that is a landing page external from your website consisting of a few pages that are highlighting what your site is promoting in a more precised and clear way, with cta implemented strategically through out, I my article you see 3 categories that a landing page fall under. I think the best is an internal landing page. There is less redirects and flows better for the visitor.

Hi, what a great post on landing page optimization. You really covered the things I really need to understand, and so I have bookmarked it for further read. You mentioned getting a mini website for landing page. Does it mean that I have to set up another website in order to create a landing page or can I use a page out of my existing website to do so?

Roope thanks for the response, will you tell me how you found my page?

    Thank you for the tips.

I Googled “landing page definition” to know what it exactly means. It said that a “landing page” is any page on the web on which one might land that 1) has a form and 2) exists solely to capture a visitor’s information through that form.

It helped me to understand the article better because i first thought that the landing page is the home page of the site :D.

It seems that landing page needs to call the action somehow.
