Be A Positive Person

Be A Positive Person. That means you know you have attributes, and you let the assets flow through naturally. Moreover, from a marketer’s point of view, it is an essential tool to build trust, to have a loyal following, in order to get a purchase from your prospects.

Being a positive person improves contacts when networking. Furthermore, your audience will expand simply by mouth to mouth marketing to all the streams you use in marketing your product or service. Also, to be a positive person or marketer, you want to be more transparent and show self-confidence.

Which will make the pitch or promotion you are presenting more believable. What is your answer to the following questions that are in your head: what do I believe I can do, and what do I think I cannot do? Did you answer? Hopefully, you answered only the first question.

Because, if you have any belief in yourself the second part of the question is irrelevant. Therefore, the more positive person in marketing will show sincerity and helpfulness, all while making the client believe they are on your level. Your primary concern in such an instance letting the client see they have your attention.

Be a More Likable Person With Charisma

In a study conducted at UCLA, subjects rated over 500 adjectives based on their perceived significance to likeability. The top-rated attributes had nothing to do with being gregarious, intelligent, or attractive (innate characteristics). Instead, the top adjectives were sincerity, transparency, and capacity for understanding.

Be A Positive Person

The marketer needs to establish a one on one relationship with the client that communicates on a two-way street. Also, the client has to feel like a contributor to the decision-making process in all parts of the customers purchasing cycle.

The marketer that is in a brighter light exudes an aura of honesty. Moreover, being an authoritative figure in their niche, giving off a presence that demands attention. President Obama and Michelle Obama like them or not, have an appearance which is a significant part of being likable.

Some character traits are common to people and marketers. All of which can be summed up in one word- “Charisma.” Charisma is the compelling attractiveness or charm that can inspire devotion in others.

However, for some reason; many think charisma is a trait that can’t be taught; that is wrong. Therefore, it is a matter of controlling the components that define appeal and perfecting them with practice.

Olivia Fox Cabane author of the Carisma Myth points out the three main parts needed to have some charisma. Depending on the encounter determines which part works best. The three parts are Presence, Power, and Warmth. Listen as she outlines which approach to take.

After that presentation how is your self-esteem? Charismatic speakers help listeners understand, relate to, and remember a message. A powerful way to do this is by using metaphors, similes, and analogies. Martin Luther King Jr. was a master of the trope.

Believe In Your Place and Space

In his “I Have a Dream” speech, for example, he likened the U.S. Constitution to “a promissory note” guaranteeing the unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness to all people but noted that America had instead given its black citizens “a bad check,” one that had come back marked “insufficient funds.” Everyone knows what it means to receive a bad check. The message is crystal clear and easy to retain.

Be a More Likable Person have confidence

Sally Hogshead, the author of How the World Sees You: Discover Your Highest Value Through the Science of Fascination, says to think about times when you enthralled others. Remember how they hung on your words and, more important, acted on your ideas.

What were you saying that grabbed those people’s interest? Moreover, how did you behave? What sorts of problems were you trying to solve?

At those moments, you were probably using natural assets—your attention to detail, perhaps; your ingenuity; your knack for breaking the ice.  I listed a few pointers that you can refer to as reminders of the traits required to be a more likable person.

  4. Fave positive habits because your habits become your values

About Maurice Jackson

Hello, my name is Maurice Jackson I live and, started my business in Detroit. My intentions are, to help any and every one with affiliate marketing as a home business, become a successful professional. My first career was working for the city of Detroit as an inspector, where I thought I would retire. But life brings change and surprises. I sustained an injury that led to an earlier retirement than I had planned. With that said I reinvented myself in April of 2014 and, became part of an affiliate program. Within the time of my reinvention leading up to the present, I am generating lots of traffic to my website and it grows every day. ROI has been minimal but then again I invested nothing to start. I am at the point of letting my site mature, as I keep writing quality content about it. In this business, you have to pay your dues. Furthermore, I and the rest of our family (become a member and you will see the family side of it) of 109000, including the founders of the program (yes they participate), will see to it that we all will be making a substantial amount of revenue as members

Your advice about thinking back to a time when the people around you were enthralled, is a powerful way to envision how charisma feels.
Visualizing success isn’t possible if you’re constantly stuck in a negative mindset.
The advice here is extremely beneficial, especially for those interested in starting an online business!

Great post Maurice! People don’t often think of traits like “charisma” when working with online marketing. They think it’s just when talking in person. I believe that these 3 aspects (presence, power, and warmth) need to be applied to our writing as well. Our visitors need to sense this to gain their trust.

Very interesting article on how to be a positive person. I never really considered that many of the attributes of being a positive, like able person can be learned, and practiced, although I suppose it is obvious if you think about. Learning these traits can have a very beneficial effect on both a person’s business life, as well as their personal life. Well done.

I think that sometimes marketers forget that they are dealing with real people! Thank you for taking this into consideration and providing a good resource on how to be a better marketer by being more empathetic to our audiences.

    All the best!

Great post, I love the speaker and the analogy of Marilyn Monroe and how Charismatic she was when she was not Norma Jean but Marilyn Monroe. I feel that I am a positive person but I definitely have to work on my charisma. I am not shy but I need to work on believing in myself more. Thanks for the post, great information and it gives me the tools to do better.
