By | April 21, 2021

Mobile Marketing Platform. Marketing in this decade has seen astonishing growth. The consumer makes it clear – in 2021, one could say that the utilization of smartphones and tablets is a main-stay in public use. These devices are the 1st choice when it comes to consumer purchases for communication both privately, and publicly.

With the advent of marketing automation, the knowledgeable online consumer now expects the mobile marketer to be of value and tailored to solve their problems, and answer questions. If you make their experience safe and trusting while interacting, you can turn a prospect into a true client.

Along with analysis and customer data software, brands must be able to ensure quality and personable mobile experience. The technology of today is high in value to the online marketer. The information can provide new ways to get to know and understand their needs.

The Rise of Mobile Optimization

It’s only logical that strategies for mobile optimization will be a priority for businesses. In the near future, these mobile strategies will move beyond responsive design or brand apps. For mobile, they will focus on mobile-optimized content.

The fact that Google considers mobile usability as relevant for optimal search results is itself a sign of the growing importance of mobile. Among Google Webmaster Tools you’ll find a new one called Mobile Usability, designed specifically to cater to this new requirement.

Mobile Web Basics

Mobile websites, will not go away via apps, but instead, follow a trend of innovation. This is a necessity in order for mobile websites to stay competitive and ensure website stability.

It won’t be just about improving the infrastructure of a website so that it’s able to manage increased mobile traffic, but also about short load time and intuitive navigation built specifically for mobile.
Over the last decade, companies used their presence on the web to foster brand awareness and communicate the brand message. The same goes for mobile web, it is now a question of building a mobile-friendly optimized campaign.
Some brands will stick to apps that are more decorative than functional (virtual dressing rooms anyone?).
As consumers start to use mobile for shopping, retailers will go back to the basics of web development and build their presence on mobile via secure, functional, and stable websites. It’s likely that most brands will focus on mobile experience than mobile apps.

The Top Online Marketing Trends That Will Dominate

By Jayson DeMers

1. Video ads will start dominating. Video ads are certainly nothing new, with social channels like YouTube dedicated to hosting billions of videos and advertising platforms like Facebook and Bing already offering advertisers video options. 2016 is set to be different because Google is finally getting on board with in-SERP video advertising. It’s a sign that users are becoming more accepting of video ads online, and as that trend continues, expect to see more types of video ads popping up in more unexpected places. With Google’s ownership of YouTube, the possibilities are virtually limitless.

2. Mobile will completely dominate the desktop. 2016 was a big year for mobile not only did Google announce that mobile overtook desktop traffic in 10 different countries.

It was also the year they released the “Mobile addon” algorithm update to phase out sites not optimized for mobile. But apparently, you don’t have to have an optimized desktop site in addition to a mobile version—according to Google, a mobile-only site with no desktop counterpart is perfectly acceptable.

This alone won’t be enough to drive down desktop traffic, but it’s clear what side of the fence Google’s on; they’re banking on desktop traffic fading away, meaning the smart money rests on mobile-focused online marketing.

So all those new online marketing competitors will drive the prices for online advertising even higher. Realistically, online ads are pretty cheap, but the increases in price may drive some smaller companies out of the landscape. An online business today needs to be taught and trained by the best.

About Maurice Jackson

Hello, my name is Maurice Jackson I live and, started my business in Detroit. My intentions are, to help any and every one with affiliate marketing as a home business, become a successful professional. My first career was working for the city of Detroit as an inspector, where I thought I would retire. But life brings change and surprises. I sustained an injury that led to an earlier retirement than I had planned. With that said I reinvented myself in April of 2014 and, became part of an affiliate program. Within the time of my reinvention leading up to the present, I am generating lots of traffic to my website and it grows every day. ROI has been minimal but then again I invested nothing to start. I am at the point of letting my site mature, as I keep writing quality content about it. In this business, you have to pay your dues. Furthermore, I and the rest of our family (become a member and you will see the family side of it) of 109000, including the founders of the program (yes they participate), will see to it that we all will be making a substantial amount of revenue as members

I have to agree, with all the advancements in technology, especially mobile, mobile marketing is a tactic us business owners can’t afford to leave out. I remember the first time I checked my website to make sure it was mobile friendly, I was scared because I know how often people sit to their phones nowadays. When I am out all I see is people on their phone screens. Thanks for the reminder of this important marketing strategy that doesn’t need to be neglected.

Interesting article. I just left a role in media sales & marketing and the race to understand how to position advertisers on mobile devices was a constant challenge. Most small business are WAY behind the times …

With the amount of money being spent online, I see a need for better integration of merchant services through mobile. Whoever gets that streamlined best is going to do really well … filling out credit card forms or watching longer-form video content is not ideal on a cell phone. Tablet, maybe, but tougher on a smartphone. Let’s see where it goes!
