Hey, everybody.  Glad to have you back.  This article speaks to those who watch Television.  Is TV apart from your daily routine?  For many it is.  Close to 1/4 of the day is spent watching television by Americans.  Watching Television is not cohesive to a positive life progression.

Television is a distraction to what is important in life.  To be better at applying your mind to do better,  turn off your TV.  Turning off your Television is the best thing you can do to regain control of your mind and lifestyle.  To think otherwise only reduces the possibility of thinking freely.

Television-turn off the TV

Want to be successful, a better lifestyle, or be more likable?  Maybe you want a better relationship, more money, harmony or more spirituality.

Whether your desires are materialistic or one of consciousness, “use your time wisely.” Time is fleeting.  All you have is this moment.

The future may or may not come for you.  Hence the phrase: “use your time wisely.”  You do not have time to talk about your life be about it.  Make all you do be about a better you. To be better, you take commitment.  Which is time-consuming, how do you find the time?  Turn off your Television.

A framework with assumptions, ways of thinking, and methodology that are commonly accepted by members of a society is one definition of a paradigm.

As it stands what is considered the “norm” or the modeled lifestyle is something that is dictated to us subconsciously.

However, there is a new paradigm on the horizon -“freewill thinking.”  I believe as a whole people want to exploit their self-awareness.  Today people want their input to be a major factor in their life choices.  Stepping out the box or a comfort zone is a challenge required for growth and discovering your life destiny.

Television Turn It Off

Television- Think for yourself Everybody has a Television.  As of Jan 26, 2011. according to -Tomi Ahonen his article in Digital Divide: Global Household Penetration Rates for Technology:

In the World, there are 970 million TV sets in 950 million households. 73% of all households have at least one TV set, and of those that do, 2% have 2 or more TV sets.  The audience who watches TV in the World is 3.15 Billion people.

Most noteworthy to me is according to data from Nielsen suggests:  TV time increases the older we get.  Between the ages of  2-11,  24 hours of TV per week is watched.  33 hours/week adults ages 35-49 watch TV.  The average American watches more than five hours of live television every day.-Mar 5, 2014.

I would like to attribute this to more independent thinkers, but I believe sadly: the use of video games is more likely the culprit for less TV watching by younger generations, which is another time consuming, a medium that can alter ones thought process.

Furthermore, TV can influence our thought process if it is the source of all the information we receive. For self-awareness: turn off your TV. The internet opens a door to independent choices and free-will thinking.  Self-awareness is a door to finding your destiny.  Reading and researching dan educate and open doors to knowledge.  Today within the information age, you have the opportunity to have what you want in life.

Television influences and distracts our minds from what is meaningful and important.  One could possibly find a small percentage a very low percentage of programs with meaningful and factual content.  However. TV has the capability to educate and inform the masses with factual information.

But as it stands, it is a medium predominantly used for propaganda, advertisement, and entertainment.  Watching too much TV can affect our thoughts.  TV must be watched in moderation and the program of choice needs to be investigated.  The statistics below reveal how TV programs reach a worldwide audience. And the audiences have no choice in how the format, presentation or the message that is delivered will come across.

About Maurice Jackson

Hello, my name is Maurice Jackson I live and, started my business in Detroit. My intentions are, to help any and every one with affiliate marketing as a home business, become a successful professional. My first career was working for the city of Detroit as an inspector, where I thought I would retire. But life brings change and surprises. I sustained an injury that led to an earlier retirement than I had planned. With that said I reinvented myself in April of 2014 and, became part of an affiliate program. Within the time of my reinvention leading up to the present, I am generating lots of traffic to my website and it grows every day. ROI has been minimal but then again I invested nothing to start. I am at the point of letting my site mature, as I keep writing quality content about it. In this business, you have to pay your dues. Furthermore, I and the rest of our family (become a member and you will see the family side of it) of 109000, including the founders of the program (yes they participate), will see to it that we all will be making a substantial amount of revenue as members

Hey Maurice, great topic. We need this message out there. TV is PROGRAMMING. They even call it that! If you want to be a robot watch TV. It will tell you who you are, where you can go, what you are worth, and what you supposedly can’t have. It will infuse fear in to you on every level. I read just this last week that you can actually get PTSD from watching TV! If you watch lots of news about violence or a violent show your body can have the physiological symptoms of PTSD. I do not watch TV anymore maybe 2 hrs a week. When I watch more than that I can feel it. I feel it, I feel tuned out and mind fog sets in. I feel unconscious. There is a reason they pay Hollywood so much money. Here is some more on the effects of TV to our health, mentally , emotionally and physically .
